Site work and new construction of a multi-residential development in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a multi-residential development; and for site work for a multi-residential development.
PHA seeks a development partner (Developer) to develop the site into a multifamily building. The PHA acquired the parcel that is 226 W Chelten in 2026. It exists currently as an unused parking lot for the adjoining Burgess Center. Plans for developing the lot began in 2020 by the previous owner, but did not ultimately come to fruition. PHA is looking to partner with a developer to reignite development on the site. The developer selected under this RFQ will lead all parts of the development initiative, including design, financing, construction, and management. The selected developer will be required to work closely with PHA and other community stakeholders throughout the development process. Developers are welcome to use or draw inspiration from the attached progress set of drawings, or offer their own approach.
