Site work, paving and new construction of a road / highway in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the construction of a road / highway.
Fine grading, installation of drainage structures, paving 1,800 linear feet of access road including rail crossing and truck turn around. Realignment and widening of 1,300 linear feet of U.S. 11, new access road construction, and utility relocation of 800 linear feet of 12-inch water line, 1,250 linear feet of 30-inch water line, and 210 linear feet of 8-inch sewer line. The Project includes the following Work: Priority 1 expectation is to fine grade, install additional drainage structures, and pave approximately 1,800 linear feet of existing gravel access road to CMC Steel this fall before asphalt plants close. This section also includes a rail crossing and truck turn around area. Priority 2 will be the realignment and widening of approximately 1,300 linear feet of U.S. 11 - Williamsport Pike to relocate the existing entrance, add turn lanes to U.S. 11 , and a construct approximately 600 linear of new access road and a new intersection to the new CMC Steel plant. The new entrance location will require utility relocations of 800 linear feet of 12- inch and 1,250 linear feet of 30-inch ductile iron water line and 210 linear feet of 8-inch SDR-35 sewer line in the road area Question Deadline 10/13/2026 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing
