Pacific Heights Pathways asphalt loops within Pacific Heights Park at 3160 Longview Drive. The path is roughly a 1/5-mile loop around the park grounds that include play area, baseball diamond, and basketball court; it is used year-round by residents and non-residents, alike. For the purpose of this bid, Pacific Heights Park has been separated into upper and lower park. Sections of these pathways are in disrepair due to root intrusion or settling. Segments of the pathways are in need of removal and reinstallation while other areas need to be crack sealed. The work includes, but is not limited to preparation of existing pathways, remove and repaving area with asphaltic concrete, crack fill and seal, shifting of pathway where necessary and installation of root barriers where necessary. All work items shall be constructed in accordance with the contract plans and specifications. Bidding Documents contain the full description of the Work. Cash, cashier's check or certified check, payable to the order of the City of San Bruno, of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid, or a bond in said amount payable to the City of San Bruno and signed by the Bidder and a corporate surety shall accompany the bid. All work under this contract shall be completed within 90 Working Days from the Notice to Proceed effective date. The City shall assess liquidated damages in the amount of $500 per Working Day for delays in completion of the project, as provided in the Contract Documents.
