Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Anderson, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; for site work for a stadium; and playground / park / athletic field.
Design and installation of conduit pathways, raceways, low-voltage data/video cabling, and associated enclosures for new LED video display boards and streaming camera positions. Project includes electrical power installation for the Mustang Stadium video board and cabling connections for the stadium, arena, baseball, and softball fields. This RFP covers the pathway construction, vendor-designed conduit, and dedicated data/video cabling required for the following four display venues: Venue A: Mustang Stadium Main Video Board Venue B: Mustang Arena Main Gym (Two Video Displays & LED Scorer's Table) Venue C: Baseball Stadium Video Board Venue D: Softball Stadium Video Board The Contractor shall provide a turnkey installation encompassing all pathway engineering, trenching/boring, indoor raceway/conduit placement, cable pulling, termination, testing, and surface restoration required to deliver complete data/video connectivity. Outdoor Venues (Venues A, C, and D) - Dual Separate Fiber & Streaming Scope For Venues A, C, and D, the contractor shall install a pathway and cabling infrastructure that provides two separate, dedicated fiber optic cables to independently support video board control and video streaming camera feeds: 1. Dual Separate Fiber Cable Runs: Cable 1 (Video Board Control): A dedicated, outdoor-rated fiber optic cable (e.g., minimum 6-strand single-mode fiber) exclusively for primary video display control and scoring operations. Cable 2 (Video Streaming Camera): A separate, dedicated outdoor-rated fiber optic cable (e.g., minimum 6-strand single-mode fiber) exclusively for high-definition video streaming camera feeds. Provide shielded Category lines (e.g., Cat6A) where required for local controllers or auxiliary device connections. Supply and terminate outdoor junction boxes and terminal patch panels with clearly separated, permanently labeled handoff ports for the video board fiber and the streaming camera fiber. 2. Outdoor Civil Work & Pathway Sizing: Vendors shall design and size all underground conduits to comfortably house both separate fiber optic cables and auxiliary lines while maintaining a minimum of 40% spare capacity. Turnkey scope includes all required utility locates (Missouri One Call / 811 ), trenching, horizontal directional drilling, pull boxes, ground handholes, wall penetrations, and surface restoration (grass, concrete, asphalt). Venue A Electrical Power Service Option (Mustang Stadium) In addition to low-voltage data and fiber pathways, Venue A requires dedicated primary electrical power service: Primary Electrical Feed: Contractor shall provide a dedicated cost proposal option to route primary AC electrical power from the designated stadium electrical distribution panel/transformer to the Mustang Stadium main video board structure. o NEC Code Separation & Pathway: Supply and install heavy-wall , direct-burial or Schedule 80 PVC conduit. Per National Electrical Code (NEC) standards, high-voltage electrical wiring must be strictly separated and run in dedicated conduit isolated from all low-voltage data and fiber pathways. Disconnect & Licensing: Include an outdoor-rated, lockable disconnect switch at the base of the scoreboard array. All electrical installation work must be performed by a state-licensed electrician and comply fully with NEC and local building codes. Indoor Venue (Venue B - Mustang Arena Main Gym) - Direct Cat6/Cat6A Data Runs For Venue B, the contractor shall design and install complete indoor pathways and low-voltage data cabling featuring dedicated Cat6/Cat6A data drops to four distinct locations back to the designated server/switch rack: 1. Direct Cat6/Cat6A Cabling Locations: Primary Indoor Video Board: Two dedicated Cat6/Cat6A data runs directly from the server location to the primary video display. Secondary Indoor Video Board: Two dedicated Cat6/Cat6A data runs directly from the server location to the secondary video display. Court-Side Scorer's Table: Dedicated Cat6/Cat6A data run from the server location to the court-side scorer's table position (utilizing floor pocket connections or heavy-duty wall-plate jacks). Control/Replay Operator Station: Dedicated Cat6/Cat6A data run from the server location to the primary booth/scoring operator station. 2. Indoor Pathway Construction: Supply and install surface-mounted raceway, EMT conduit, or J-hook pathway systems across gym walls or ceiling structures where open pathways do not exist. Provide all required wall/floor penetrations and firestopping code-compliant seals. General Scope Requirements Applicable to All Venues 1. Mandatory Site Assessment & Distance Measurement: Bidders are required to evaluate existing field conditions during their site visit to accurately measure and verify the exact cable run distances between each venue's control/server location and the display/camera termination points. 2. Display Vendor Coordination: The selected contractor shall coordinate directly with the awarded video board vendor to ensure fiber strand selection, transceiver compatibility, connector types, and physical handoff points match the selected video display and broadcast setup. 3. Scope Summary by Venue Venue A - Mustang Stadium (Outdoor) Locations: Press Box / Control Room to Outdoor Main Video Board & Camera Mount. Pathway & Cabling: Construct complete conduit pathway sized for multiple cable runs. Pull two (2) separate fiber optic cables (one for video board control , one for streaming camera) plus shielded Cat6A cabling from press box handoff points to the display and camera mounting positions. Venue B - Mustang Arena Main Gym (Indoor) Locations: Gym Server Location to Four Distinct Drops: Primary Video Board, Secondary Video Board, Court-Side Scorer's Table, and Operator Station. Pathway & Cabling: Install surface raceways/EMT conduit, wall penetrations, and floor/wall connections . Pull separate Cat6/Cat6A cabling from the central server location directly to each of the four designated indoor equipment drops. Venue C - Baseball Stadium (Outdoor) Locations: Press Box / Scoring Booth to Baseball Video Display & Field Camera Positions. Pathway & Cabling: Determine best trenching or boring route, install upsized conduit pathway, and pull two (2) separate fiber optic cables dedicated independently to video board control and video streaming cameras Venue D - Softball Stadium (Outdoor) Locations: Press Box / Scoring Booth to Softball Video Display & Field Camera Positions. Pathway & Cabling: Determine best trenching or boring route, install upsized conduit pathway, and pull two (2) separate fiber optic cables dedicated independently to video board control and video streaming cameras. A. Venue B - Mustang Arena Main Gym (Electrical Power Option) In addition to low-voltage data and fiber pathways, Venue B requires dedicated primary electrical power service: o Primary Electrical Power Feed: Contractor shall provide a dedicated cost proposal option to install electrical power feeds from the gym's electrical panel directly to both indoor video displays. o NEC Code Separation: All electrical power conductors must be run in separate conduit pathways (EMT or Sch 80 PVC) strictly isolated from all low-voltage data cabling, per National Electrical Code (NEC) standards. All electrical labor must be performed by a state-licensed electrician. B. Venue D - Softball Stadium (Concession Stand to Press Box Conduit & Fiber) Press Box Connection Scope: The pathway and cabling scope for Venue D is updated to explicitly require a conduit pathway and fiber optic cabling run directly from the Venue D Concession Stand to the Venue D Press Box. Pathway & Cabling: Contractor shall trench/bore, place upsized conduit, and pull the required fiber cable starting at the stadium's Concession Stand and into the Press Box
