Site work, paving and remodeling of a mixed-use development in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and for the remodel of a educational facility.

Scope of architectural work includes remodeling of the media center and surrounding support spaces, including remodeling an adjacent classroom into a Maker Space, and remodeling of the entry areas in the corridors outside the media center. One classroom will be remodeled into a Flex Room. Other work includes additional walls/doors being added for security compartmentalization of the building, and installation of safety glazing film on some exterior windows and doors. Structural and Electrical work supports Architectural work. Also included in the scope is an outdoor classroom area. Scope of work in the outdoor classroom includes concrete and colored concrete sidewalks/areas, benching, and landscaping, outdoor musical instruments (some are salvaged existing, some are new), associated grading and site drainage, electrical site lighting, power, and security. NOTE: Mechanical portion of project - plumbing, HVAC, and sprinkler work - is being provided by Owner's separate contractor, McDowall Company. General Contractor shall be required to coordinate with and schedule the work of McDowall Company, in the same manner as if they were a sub- contractor to the General Contractor. This includes providing temporary facilities and controls Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or Bid Bond in the amount of 5 percent of the Base Bid submitted, made payable to the Owner. Owner reserves the right to reject a Bid which is incomplete or irregular, the right to waive informalities or irregularities in a Bid received, and the right to accept a Bid which in the Owner's judgment is in Owner's best interests.
