The work generally consists of clearing and grubbing, unclassified excavation, subgrade preparation, aggregate base course, structural concrete, reinforced shotcrete channel lining, storm drain pipe and drainage structures, removals, gabions, post-and-cable barrier, a standard gate, concrete access roadway, header curb, permeable Grasscrete, landscaping, irrigation, traffic control, construction staking, post-construction plans, and other associated improvements. Additive Alternate No. 1 - Remaining Flood Control Improvements: Includes construction of the remaining flood control and site improvements from STA 23+50 to STA 36+48.68. The work generally consists of clearing and grubbing, unclassified excavation, subgrade preparation, structural concrete, reinforced shotcrete channel lining, storm drain pipe, gabions, post-and-cable barrier, concrete access improvements, estate curb, wooden wheel stops, crusher fines, SWPPP implementation, and other associated improvements. Additive Alternate No. 2 - Rough Grading: Includes rough grading of the area from STA 36+48.68 to STA 44+09.91, continuing to the proposed alignment. This area is generally located between the existing artificial soccer field, the existing building, the proposed channel, and the proposed parking lot. The work generally consists of clearing and grubbing, earthwork, grading and shaping of the site, and related work required to establish the proposed contours and drainage patterns.
