Demolition, site work and renovation of a library in N Chelmsford, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the demolition of a library; and for the renovation of a library.

Scope of Work: The project scope consists of ramp replacement and repairs the MacKay Library. The intent is to provide a sound ramp system with ADA compliant slope and sizing. At project completion, Contractor shall provide a written guarantee that covers all defects in workmanship and materials for a period of two (2) years from date of acceptance. The general scope of the construction work is as follows: Remove the existing ramp completely down to the footings. Footings to be reused along with new locations of footing. New framing is to be installed with new composite decking and aluminum railings. The deck to the flashed into the building walls. Existing canopy is to be removed and a new canopy wood structure to be built and tied into the EPDM roof system above. Associated Repair Work Items include (A) Install new gutters with downspouts where indicated in the drawings; (B) Removal and replacement of entry door with new ADA compliant door; (C) Framing in and covering A/C in wall ; (D) Installing new lighting for canopy area as indicated in the drawings; (E) Install new ADA compliant door opener; and (F) Removal and replacement of deteriorated wood siding.
