Construction of a steel data transmission tower, including drilled concrete pier with concrete pad, installation of city-furnished equipment cabinet, and installation of electrical and communication conduits. The engineer's estimate for the work contemplated by the Base Bid Schedule is $ 125,000. The Project is located at 2908 Hemsworth Court Lathrop, CA. The work to be performed under this contract is generally described as but not necessarily limited to provision and construction of a steel data transmission tower, including drilled concrete pier with concrete pad, installation of city-furnished equipment cabinet, installation of electrical and communication conduits, and provision of CA engineer-stamped plans and specifications for the tower and the tower footing. All communications related to the City's administration of this work shall be directed to Steven Hollenbeak, Assistant Engineer at shollenbeak@ci.lathrop.ca.us, or by calling the Public Works Department at (209) 941-7430. The City of Lathrop is located in the San Joaquin Valley, 70 miles east of San Francisco, CA and has an approximate population of 38,600 people. The project consists of the construction of a communication tower and running empty power and data conduits to support multiple gateway antennae installed by others for the purpose of transmitting data from telemetrically-enabled water meters to City offices. The work to be performed under this contract is generally described as, but not necessarily limited to provision and construction of a steel data transmission tower, including drilled concrete pier with concrete pad, installation of city-furnished equipment cabinet, installation of electrical and communication conduits, and provision of CA engineer-stamped plans and specifications for the tower and the tower footing. All project materials shall be supplied by the Contractor, and the Work shall be performed in accordance with the Standard Specifications and the Construction Documents as defined in the General Conditions. The Work shall be complete, and all work, materials, and services not expressly shown or called for in the Construction Documents which may be necessary for the complete and proper construction of the Work in good faith shall be performed, furnished, and installed by the Contractor as though originally specified or shown in said Construction Documents, at no increase in cost to the City
