Renovation of a military facility in Kingston, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
The work includes full replacement of the existing fire alarm systems with new centralized addressable systems , installation of building-wide wet-pipe sprinkler systems , upgrades to emergency lighting , and replacement of existing exit signage with code- compliant pictogram signs . Additionally for Building VB07 , the project will also include hazardous materials abatement to remove asbestos- containing ceiling tiles within corridor areas , followed by the installation of new T - bar ceilings and new LED lighting fixtures throughout the corridor spaces . This work will be coordinated with the installation of the new sprinkler system and associated building upgrades .
