Demolition of the existing gymnasium and associated site preparation work for the CCNB Bathurst Redevelopment project. Stipulated sum contract to provide all plant, labour, materials, equipment and services required for the work. Principal work includes demolition of the existing gymnasium and the connecting tunnel leading to the Main Pavilion, Wing U; asbestos remediation and lead-based paint abatement; demolition and removal of structures, foundations and below-grade construction; utility disconnection/removal; civil site work to fill and grade the areas previously occupied by the gymnasium and tunnel; earthwork, excavation and backfill; granular sub-base and aggregate base; asphalt paving; concrete walks, curbs and gutters; pavement markings; environmental controls; and waste management. The campus remains occupied, so circulation and adjacent operations must be coordinated and disruption minimized. Bonds: 10% Bid Bond.
