Demolition, site work, new construction and renovation of a civil project in Firth, Idaho. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project.
Construction of a large reinforced concrete bifurcation water control structure in the West Branch canal. The work entails excavation, subbase placement and compaction, foundation preparation, concrete formwork, concrete placement, backfill, and installation of raceways and conductors for equipment power and instrumentation. Installation of owner-prepurchased one (1) 9-foot wide by 4.8-foot tall and one (1) 7-foot wide by 4.8-foot tall overshot steel gates and gate hoists, and installation of owner-prepurchased control panel and level sensing instruments, with installation oversight by gate manufacturer. Contractor to assist with start-up and commissioning with Owner and gate manufacturer. Replacement of four (4) existing culverts with new culverts within the canal system at the locations shown on the plans. The work includes removal of the existing culverts, furnish and installation of new culverts, excavation, bedding, backfill, erosion control, and restoration of disturbed areas. The Project is expected to be substantially complete by March 15, 2027.
