Truckee Meadows Water Authority (TMWA) is accepting sealed bids for all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required for the abandonment of 92 linear feet of 6-inch cast iron water main and removal of 14 linear feet of 6-inch transite water main within the project vicinity. Included is the installation of approximately 47 linear feet of new 6-inch restrained ductile iron pipe with vertical offsets, 24"x6" hot tap assembly (w/TMWA to perform the tap), fittings, and appurtenances. The project also includes surface restoration (temporary and permanent pavement patching) as a result of water main installation. The Contractor shall furnish all work, labor, services, supplies, materials, equipment, tools, traffic control operations, transportation, supervision, appliances, appurtenances and incidentals required for the prompt and efficient completion of the project described as the abandonment of 92 linear feet of 6-inch cast iron water main and removal of 14 linear feet of 6-inch transite water main within the project vicinity. ("Project") as described in the Contract Documents and in accordance with the contract provisions, Plans, and Specifications, together with all work incidental or reasonably inferable which is necessary to produce the results intended by the Contract Documents (collectively, the "Work"). Contractor shall be responsible for the supervision and coordination of the Work, including the construction means, methods, techniques, sequences and procedures utilized, unless the Contract Documents specifically provide otherwise. The Contractor represents and warrants that it has fully investigated the nature, locality and site of the Work and the conditions and difficulties under which it is to be performed, and that it enters into this Agreement on the basis of its own examination, investigation, and evaluation of all such matters and is in no way relying upon any opinions or representations of the Owner, or any of their respective officers, agents, servants, or employees with respect thereto.
