Site work and addition to a library in Eminence, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the addition of a library.
Construction of an addition to the existing Henry County Public Library building. The construction of a new 2,440 sq ft addition at HCPL. Primary construction is wood frame and wood trusses. Other partitions are wood stud and drywall construction. The building is one level. Roof construction is rigid insulation on wood trusses, with low-slope membrane roofing and standing seam metal roofing. . Openings include aluminum storefront and hollow metal frame. There will be minor renovation work in the existing library where the addition connects to the existing building and building services tie in points(waste line and venting). Work involves a standalone HVAC system, electrical systems (including lighting), plumbing, fire protection, communications, and electronic safety and security systems. Work also includes equipment that will be contractor installed and owner-furnished. Finishes include drywall , carpet, SVT, LVT, painting, and acoustical/grid ceilings.
