General Building Construction - Roofing - Contractor is to demolish, remove, and replace existing roofing system. Work to be performed in accordance with project specifications in Part IV of the Bid Documents. The project work to be done under this contract consists of executing and completing all work required for DMH 2027-012, Sitterly Building Roof Replacement project located at the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health, 13 Prospect Street, Greenfield, MA 01301. The scope of work, without limiting the generality thereof, includes all labor, materials, equipment, and services required to perform the work described fully in the Drawings and Specifications and includes, but is not limited to the following major work: 1. Removal and replacement of the existing roof system with a new roof system. Construction will include, but is not limited to: Carpentry. Roof sheathing. Roofing. The work will include all operations necessary to deliver the building and ancillary on and offsite amenities in fully installed and operable condition including all utility and site work and obtaining all necessary licenses, permits, and certificates. Where utilities exist within and adjacent to the building and are known by the Owner, they have been shown on the site plan appearing in, but not restricted to , the exhibits. Connections to these existing utility lines will be the responsibility of the Contractor. Estimated Construction Cost: Base Bid: $100,000.00 Work to be completed within ninety (90) calendar days of Notice to Proceed.
