Construction of site improvements including a masonry structure, installation of new switchgear, and installation of a backup generator. Scope of work- This work is within a secure facility. See contract documents for additional requirements. Construct new electrical service from pacific gas and electric (pg&e) point of connection including meter and switchgear, primary conductor pathway, and pg& e designated upgrades. In addition, construct new distribution switchgear, transformers, and emergency back-up generator. Construct masonry structure to house electrical distribution gear. Construct site improvements around the areas of the new switchgear and the emergency generator equipment. Site improvements shall include storm water drainage improvements, asphalt paving, concrete paving, concrete retaining walls, etc. Site improvements shall include all trenching for new electrical pathways. At contractors option, directional boring of electrical pathways shall be permitted The scope of this project is exempt from dsa accessibility requirements per 2019 cbc 118-203 general exceptions, section 118-203.5. Bonds: 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond. The State's requirements for Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation and other Contract requirements will be presented.
