Installation of gravity sanitary sewer with trenchless crossing beneath SR-85 and 13400 South. Scope includes installation of PVC sewer pipe, steel casing pipe, manholes, connection to existing system, abandonment of existing infrastructure, surface restoration, bypass pumping, and traffic control. This project includes installation of a gravity sanitary sewer with a trenchless crossing beneath SR-85 (Mountain View Corridor) within UDOT Region 2 right-of-way. The Work includes, but is not limited to, installation of 15-inch and 8-inch PVC gravity sanitary sewer pipe; trenchless installation of a 36- inch steel (0.500 inch thick) casing pipe with carrier pipe beneath Mountain View Corridor (State Route 85); trenchless installation of a 36- inch steel (0.500 inch thick) casing pipe with carrier pipe beneath 13400 South; excavation, construction, and backfilling of launch, retrieval , and intermediate shafts; installation of new 60-inch-diameter sanitary sewer manholes; connection to the existing sanitary sewer system; abandonment and removal of existing sewer infrastructure; surface restoration, including pavement, curb and gutter, sidewalk, and striping; traffic control within UDOT right-of-way; sanitary sewer bypass pumping as required; and all related appurtenances and incidental work necessary to complete the Project in accordance with the Contract Documents.
