Scope of Work and Proposal Proposal shall include, at a minimum: o Removal and disposal of existing roofing materials o Installation of a 30-year composite roofing system Separate pricing for a 40-year composite roofing system o Description of inclement weather safeguards o Daily and final jobsite cleanup o Process for unforeseen damage, including dry rot and damaged roof decking. Describe the process for identifying and documenting unforeseen conditions, notifying the District, obtaining approval before proceeding with additional work, and establishing pricing for additional repairs. o Identify if a third-party contractor would be required and describe the coordination process and how associated costs and schedule impacts will be communicated to the District. The awarded contractor shall self-perform no less than 51% of the total project scope, including associated labor and contract value. o Estimated project start date, completion date and number of working days All questions regarding this RFP shall be submitted in writing to District Manager Michelle Armstrong at marmstrong@placerhillsfire.org no later than 5:00 p.m. on October 23, 2026. Questions raised during the mandatory job walk, along with the District's responses, will be documented in writing and distributed to all job walk participants.
