Demolition, site work and addition to a transportation facility in Edwards AFB, California. Completed plans call for the addition of a 22,500-square-foot transportation facility; for the demolition of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.
The project generally consists of construction of a new two-story addition to Hangar B1210, including associated architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire protection, fire alarm, communications, low voltage, site improvements, and related work. The solicitation also includes an option for demolition of the existing modular structures within Hangar B1210. The Base Bid period of performance is 550 calendar days, with any awarded option work to be completed within the same overall period. Requests for Information (RFIs) will be accepted at any time during the proposal preparation period; however, if a RFI is received after COB 14 Oct 2026, there is no guarantee of an answer being provided.
