Provide general construction services under a Multiple-Award Construction Contract (MACC) to support the construction, alteration, repair, and maintenance requirements of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Office of Research Facilities. Work may include maintenance, repair, painting, alterations, architectural work, mechanical systems, electrical systems, plumbing, heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC), civil work, earthwork, fencing, structural work, steel fabrication and welding, roofing, building renovations, demolition, new building construction, sustainable construction, design-bid-build, and design-build projects. Individual task orders may include one or more construction disciplines and will vary in size, scope, and complexity. All work will be performed in accordance with the requirements, specifications, drawings, and other project-specific documents issued under individual task orders. Work will be awarded through multiple-award Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contracts, with task orders generally issued on a firm-fixed-price basis. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
