Reconstruction of Bright Avenue including utilities replacement. Bonds: Bid Bond required (unspecified amount), Performance Bond required (unspecified amount), Payment Bond required (unspecified amount). SCOPE OF WORK The project location is Bright Avenue, Northampton, Massachusetts . The work generally consists of the following and shall be performed in accordance with the technical specifications and project Plans: Replacement of approximately 160 feet of sewer main with one (1) proposed sewer manhole connecting to the sewer main in Bright Avenue. Sewer services within the rightof-way will also be replaced and cleanouts are proposed to be installed. One ( 1 ) sewer manhole will be replaced in Bright Street with approximately 30 feet of sewer main. Replacement of approximately 160 feet of water main including gate valves and fittings connecting to the water main in Bright Street. Water service connections with curb stops and boxes within the right of way will also be replaced. Reclaim pavement for base course and place intermediate and surface pavement courses on Bright Avenue, which consists of approximately 610 SY of pavement area. Replacement of asphalt driveway aprons. Corresponding work including erosions and sedimentation controls, tree/vegetation pruning, inspection of sewers, trench patching, traffic controls and safety, and site restoration
