Questions due October 15, 2026 Initial contract term November 9, 2026, through October 31, 2031 Renewal options additional one-year terms, at Town option The Town of Stafford, Connecticut invites sealed bids from qualified tree-care contractors to provide on-call tree trimming, tree removal, storm response, and related services within Town rights-of-way and on other Town-controlled property. The Town may award to one or more responsive and responsible bidders when doing so best serves operational needs. Submit questions in writing to publicworks@staffordct.gov with the bid number in the subject line. Oral interpretations are not binding. Only a written addendum issued by the Town changes the bid documents. Bidders are responsible for checking the Town website and acknowledging all addenda on the Bid Form. To the extent permitted by law, the Town may reject any or all bids; waive minor informalities or nonmaterial defects; request clarification; accept any item or combination of items; make multiple awards; reduce or increase estimated quantities; cancel or reissue this solicitation; and award in the Town's best interest. No contract exists until a written agreement is approved and signed by authorized representatives of both parties.
