Selective demolition and renovation of the existing 32,000sf public library to create additional study rooms, meeting spaces, sensory room and adult changing station. A new exterior monument sign is also part of the project. . Project location - 424 Central Ave. Fort Dodge, Iowa 50501. A. Bids shall be accompanied by a security deposit as follows: 1 .Bid Bond of a sum no less than 5 percent of the Bid Amount on AIA A310 Bid Bond Form. Or 2. Certified check in the amount of no less than 5 percent of the Bid Amount. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum, issued by a responsible Surety approved by the Owner and shall guarantee the faithful performance of the Contract and terms and conditions therein contained and the maintenance of said improvements pursuant to the provisions of the Contract Document. Bid Security shall be made payable to City of Fort , Fort IA Desired Substantial Completion Date: 06-01-2027 +Desired Final Completion Date: Not later than 60 calendar days past Substantial Completion Question Deadline 11/05/2026 Online portal, 7 days prior to due date of bids.
