The County of Sierra is accepting proposals for services to perform snow removal and if necessary, de-icing services on County roads in and around Verdi, California. Services are anticipated to begin with the first snowfall of the 2026 winter season. The actual commencement of services will be dependent on weather and site conditions. All Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be submitted in writing by email publicworks@sierracounty.ca.gov. Firms wishing to be placed on the proposal holder list and receive all addenda, and RFI responses, shall submit their contact information to Sierra County by email at publicworks@sierracounty.ca.gov.
