The Work associated with Bid Package 2 for the Century Community Shelter consists of furnishing all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, permits, testing, inspections, coordination, temporary facilities, protection, and incidentals necessary to complete the renovation of the existing gymnasium and construction of the adjoining new community shelter addition at 720 E Hecker Rd, Century, Florida, in accordance with the Contract Documents. The Project is comprised of two adjoining building components: the existing Gymnasium Building, which will remain and be renovated , and a new building addition containing the expanded community shelter program. The existing primary gymnasium roof and wall framing generally remain, subject to the modifications indicated in the Contract Documents. The new addition utilizes CMU walls, metal stud framing, structural steel roof framing, and low-slope roof construction. Project No.2026-048 Construction of the new Century Community Shelter facility.
