Bathroom modifications for units 507 and 508 at Moon Towers. Bathroom Work Scope Option a (replace shower and flooring) Remove existing water closet and store for re-installation. Remove existing bathtub and surround. Remove closet shelving. Remove closet wall and demolish gypsum board on remaining rear and end wall. Remove existing vinyl flooring and BASE. Take care not to damage existing gypsum board finish above the top of wall BASE in hallway. Remove existing ceiling at tub/shower in unit below. Reconfigure shower drain plumbing as required, as well as shower head height at unit below. Construct new gypsum board soffit at unit below. Install wood furring at shower end wall as shown. Construct new gypsum board closet wall. Install new cement backer board at rear and end shower walls, and gypsum board at remainder of closet wall. Raise/slope concrete subfloor as shown. Once subfloor is set, install new mosaic tile, ceramic wall tile, vct and wall BASE Install new collapsible dam, drain, shower valves and trims, folding shower seat, grab bars, shower rod and curtain as shown Paint bathroom and linen closet corner to corner, floor to ceiling. Paint new soffit above tub in unit below. Install new wire shelving at linen closet. Re-install existing water closet. Option b (full HUD 504 compliance conversion) 1. All work scope under option a. 2. Remove existing 32" door, widen opening for 36" door, install 36" door. Relocate existing towel bar if required. 3. Install new grab bars around the water closet and new toilet paper dispenser. 4. Replace gfci and switch plate adjacent to the door. 5. Replace medicine cabinet.
