Professional services related to the Edison Way Extension project. Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) is soliciting qualifications from architectural firms to provide design services for the 16' to 20' extension of the building from the westwardly wall at 475 Edison Way in Reno. We will be leaving the existing walls of the Tilt up and providing for an approximately 4,000sf of additional conditioned space. This building extension will house the Welding program, Diesel program and the Machining program as an enlargement of their current programs. This project will be in accordance with the TMCC Facilities Master Plan criteria and focus on the program needs of increasing the enrollment of the Edison Building. The selected firm will be responsible for the design development, engineering, permit and construction documents, and construction administration. The project will utilize a design, bid , build construction delivery method. The construction cost for renovations has not been fully estimated but will be targeted to be in the $2.5 Million budgetary range. Areas to be constructed include: Expanded space for -Welding -Diesel -Machine shop The design is intended to identify the scope of work, cost estimate and schedule. The anticipated services may include, but are not necessarily limited to: o Schematic, Design Development, Permit, and Construction Documents. o Construction Administration.
