PROPOSAL: PART A- SCOPE Drainage District No. 20 Main 2, Kossuth County, Iowa, hereinafter called the "Jurisdiction", has need of a qualified contractor to complete the work comprising the below referenced repair or improvement. The undersigned Bidder hereby proposes to complete the work comprising the below referenced repair or improvement as specified in the contract documents, which are officially on file with the Jurisdiction, in the office of the County Auditor, at the prices hereinafter provided in Part C of the Proposal, for the following described improvement: PROJECT DESCRIPTION : Project consists of 20 linear feet of 48" diameter corrugated metal pipe, 40 linear feet of 42" reinforced concrete pipe, modification of an existing manhole, placing trench foundation stone, and any and all other miscellaneous items related thereto. The Board of Supervisors, acting as Trustees, will select any combination of Divisions and Alternates, which is in the best interest of the Drainage District, based on bid factors such as price, and pipe material. All Bidders will be required to complete each division and alternate of the "Proposal, Attachment C, Bid Items and Quantities" (including all alternate options) to be considered for the award. Bonds: 5% Bid Bond, Certified Check required, 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond, 100% Maintenance Bond.
