Description

Site work for a road / highway in Miami Lakes, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

Scope of Work: Contractor must obtain and submit all permits prior to performing any work). ( 1) The scope of work entails installing a new traffic signal at Cow Pen Rd and Miami Lakes Dr. that includes new decorative lights. The installation will include new FDOT mast-arm with full pedestrian features, internally illuminated street name signs, traffic signal heads, directional boring for conduits, signal cables, video detection loops, new traffic control, new service disconnect, decorative streetlight, upgraded ramps, milling and resurfacing and new pavement markings. 2) If any changes are required due to conflict of design and or field conditions, the Engineer will make the final determination. 3) The Contractor and all subcontractors, under this Contract, are prohibited from performing any work, other than specified in the Contract and/or directed by the Engineer, within the limits of the project site, without prior written notification to the Engineer. This includes any work for private or commercial entities. All RFI requests should be e-mailed to Marco.Movilla@miamidade.gov while copying the Clerk of the Board (clerkbcc@miamidade.gov). Liquidated Damages: YES $$ Per Day: $1,685.00 Miami-Dade County reserves the right, upon reasonable notice, to request and examine the policies of insurance (including but not limited to policies, binders, amendments, exclusions or riders, etc.)
