Project will be awarded as a single combined contract. Project consists of replacing existing boilers, pumps, and other hydronic components. The entire project is within the Hitchcock Elementary School campus, 5809 South 104th Street, Omaha, NE. The project consists of replacing the existing heating hot water plant in its entirety. B. Work under this contract includes all material , labor, tools, expendable equipment, utility and transportation services, and all incidental items necessary to perform and complete, in a workmanlike manner, the work required for the construction of the Hitchcock Elementary School Boiler Replacement project located at 5809 South 104th Street, Omaha, NE. C. Project shall take place during staff and student summer vacation but various areas of the facility will be occupied by summer school activities. Contractors and Hitchcock staff will work closely to isolate areas of work. D. Work in the facility shall be allowed during normal working hours throughout the project, however, the contractor must provide, at all times , for clear exit paths, proper lighting, and fire/smoke protection (subject to approval of all authorities having jurisdiction) and protection against any and all fumes and odors caused by construction activities. The contractor shall halt or modify any activities the Owner determines to be disruptive in any manner to their continued use of the building. Any questions regarding the meaning of any portion of the contract documents shall be submitted to the Architect/Engineer for interpretation. Definitive interpretations or clarification will be published by addenda or supplemental information. Verbal interpretation not issued by addendum or supplemental information shall not be considered part of the contract documents.
