PUBLIC WATER SYSTEM ID: MO401002 The project shall consist of two new drinking water supply wells near a new water plant site. A. Item No. 1 Mobilization & Demobilization: Description: Mobilization shall include the cost of transporting materials and machinery to the project site, site preparation, equipment setup and testing, temporary erosion control measures, any required permits, and any and all other work needed to begin work on the project. Demobilization shall include the cost of removing materials and machinery from the project site, final cleanup, final finish grading and seeding and mulching, equipment breakdown, completing any required permits, and any and all other work needed to finish work on the project according to the plans and project specifications. Unit of Measurement: Lump Sum Item No. 2 Water Supply Well: Description: This item shall consist of all labor, equipment and materials needed to construct a 400 gpm water supply well and corresponding features. This item shall include completing all test hole and sampling prior to developing into well (test hole can be used for developing to final well), drilling, surface casing, inner casing, restrained joint well column pipe, development, pump testing, air vent, airline, submitting necessary paperwork to State Geologist, providing well registration and bore logs to Owner, startup spare parts, submersible pump and motor, column piping, discharge head, water level indicator, pressure gauge, pump base, grouting, disinfecting, final pump testing, operation and maintenance manuals. This item also includes repairs to damaged utilities and property, daily cleanup, and any other work needed to construct the Water Supply Well as shown on the plans, as specified herein, or as needed for completeness or proper function. This bid price also includes any work coincidental to the well such as removal of surface water, clearing, erosion control, daily cleanup, and any other work necessary to complete the water supply well as described in the technical specifications and the plan drawings. Description: This item shall consist of all labor, equipment and materials needed to construct the proposed well site piping including excavation and disposal of excess materials; backfill, compaction, and testing; pipe; fittings; mechanical joint restraints; locator wire and locator tape; valve blocking; location, adjustment, and repair of existing utilities; disinfection and testing; connection to the sedimentation basin piping; daily cleanup; and any other items needed to provide a complete and functional water distribution system as shown on the plans and according to Division 2 Section 02310 "Excavating and Backfilling Trenches" and Division 2 Section 02510 "Water Distribution Piping." 2. Unit of Measurement: Lump Sum Item No. 4 Electrical/Control Work: Description: This item shall consist of all labor, equipment and materials needed to construct the necessary upgrades to the electrical apparatuses and controls. This item shall include all wiring, conduit, selector switches, programming, relays, transducers, signal cable, conduit, trenching, disposal of existing soil, daily cleanup, repairs to damaged utilities and property, and any other items required to provide a complete and functional project in accordance with the drawings and technical specifications. This item shall include any excavation and disposal of excess material, concrete valve vault, access hatch, piping, fittings, valves, flow meters, structural supports, drains, gravel , and any other items necessary to provide a complete and functional project in accordance with the drawings and specifications.
