Site work for a water / sewer project in Atkinson, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Installation of approximately 6,440 LF of 12-inch diameter ductile iron water main and appurtenances. Bids are requested for the West Main Street Water Main Replacement Project. Bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of 5% of the Total Bid Price. Payment and Performance Bonds must be provided at Contract Signing. Each bidder shall comply with the requirements of the Build America, Buy America Act, the American Iron and Steel Act, and take special notice of the Guidance for use of Disadvantaged Business Enterprise in the DWSRF Supplemental General Conditions. Bidders are required to comply with federal requirements, including but not limited to the President's Executive Order No. 11246, Davis Bacon wage rates, Copeland "Anti-Kickback" Act, Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act, OSHA standards, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Safe Drinking Water Act, and related regulations. No bidder may withdraw a bid within 60 days after the opening thereof. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders included in the Bidding Documents. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities or to reject any or all bids.
