The Greater Augusta Utility District is requesting bids for materials to support the assembly of pressure vessels at the Riverside Drive Treatment Building in Augusta, Maine. Material bids are due by the specified deadline and may be hand delivered or submitted electronically. The project is administered and funded by the Maine Drinking Water Program and must comply with its supplemental conditions. All materials must be Build America, Buy America (BABA) compliant, and BABA certifications are required for payment. Materials must have at least a one-year warranty, free from defects. Lead time, pricing, and BABA compliance will be the main factors in awarding the project. The District will review shop drawing material submittals. All piping and fittings must be class 53 ductile iron, double cement lined, and must meet the specified ANSI/AWWA standards. Bidders are required to fill out the attached Bid Table for their bid to be considered valid. Drawings are available online for reference.
