Introduction The City of Bangor is requesting bids from qualified firms for painting the exterior of the Fleet Maintenance Facility, 481 Maine Avenue, Bangor, Maine. Scope of Work 1. Paint the entire exterior of the Fleet Maintenance Facility. The walls will be one color (Light Brown). The trim and man doors will be another color (Dark Brown). The same color as the building now. 2. All items that need to be moved for proper painting will be moved by the awarded bidder and placed back in the same spot once painting is complete. 3. All surfaces to be painted will be properly cleaned prior to painting 4. Any and all debris from cleaning the surfaces must be hauled away by the awarded bidder and disposed of in accordance to Environmental regulations. 5. Paint will be a multi-surface acrylic exterior such as Sherwin Williams Industrial Pro or equivalent Any questions must be directed in writing to bids@bangormaine.gov no later than 4:30 PM, Thursday, March 24, 2022. The City of Bangor reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities or defects in bids or to accept a higher cost bid if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Bangor. The City also reserves the right to negotiate with the successful Bidder
