Renovation of an educational facility in Bangor, Maine. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 5,400-square-foot educational facility.
Eastern Maine Community College is seeking quotes for Floor Removal and Installation. Scope of Work: • Contractor is responsible for removing existing kitchen appliances/equipment from each area to allow for flooring removal and installation o fnew tile flooring and cove base. Door thresholds to be replaced as required. • Demolition work to include the removal of existing flooring materials and associated waste from the property. • Prep work according to tile manufacturer’s specifications to be completed prior to new product installation. • New flooring and cove base to be installed according to the specifications below. The completed installations must be approved prior to re-installation of kitchen appliances/equipment. • All kitchen appliances/equipment to be re-installed to their original location and verify proper operation ofsaid equipment. This work to include minor electrical, minor plumbing and natural gas/propane line manipulation to include leak testing. • Contractor responsible for any damages to equipment and site not noted before work begins. Square Footage: • Katahdin Hall Cafeteria: Approximately 2,700 square feet • Rangeley Hall Kitchen: Approximately 2,700 square feet Rangeley Hall Kitchen portion of work to start after Katahdin Hall completion • Rangeley Hall Kitchen to be completed by August 8, 2025 Tile Specifications: • Daltile • Volume 1.0 • 12”x 24” • 1/8” Grout Lines • Color to be chosen by EMCC Cove Base Specifications: • 3” x 12” Bullnose • Color to be chosen by EMCC
