As of December 3, 2024, no submissions were received. It is not yet determined if the RFP will be re-issued. The City reserves the right to reject any proposals, waive any informalities or defects in proposals, or accept a higher cost proposal if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the City. The City also reserves the right to clarify with the successful proposer The successful Proposer must be current on all property tax, stormwater, sewer payments, and any other obligations due the City, have no pending Code issues, and have all business licenses (if any). Should the City Council reject all proposals, the property may be offered again for public sale or some other method of disposal or sale The City Council of the City of Bangor is accepting proposals for the purchase and development of the municipality’s interest in the City-owned property located at 324 Union Street – Map Lot 033-007”, to a Proposer for the construction of a Single Family housing unit and an Accessory Dwelling Unit. The City-owned property which is located in the Whitney Park Historic District, consists of approximately 0.21 acres with approximately fifty (50) feet of road frontage on Union Street and one hundred forty (140) feet on Pond Street with public utility accessibility Any questions must be directed in writing to bids@bangormaine.gov no later than 4:30 P.M., Friday, December 22, 2023.
