Catch basins on Richardson St, West St, and High St are connected to the sanitary sewer. These contribute to combined sewer overflows (CSO) in both the Commercial Street and Castine Avenue drainage areas. Storm drains on Richardson Street connecting to State Road are undersized. Pavement on Richardson is in need of rehabilitation. Separate catch basins from the sanitary sewer and connect them to new and existing storm drains. Replace Richardson-to-State storm drains with larger pipes. This work must be coordinated with a Maine DOT project on the Route 1 on/off ramps from State Road. Repave Richardson Street. Perform engineering design in FY 2024 and construction in FY 2025. Included in CSO Master Plan. As of May 30, 2025, this project is in City of Bath's capital budget fy 2025 CIP.
