The project includes full depth reconstruction of the existing parking lot, hot mix asphalt paving, culvert replacement, and pavement markings at the Great Pond Boating Facility in Belgrade. Submit bids on a completed Contractor Bid Form (section 00 41 13), provided in the Bid Documents, including bid security when required, and scan each item as an attachment to an email addressed to the designated email address, to be received no later than the stated deadline. The email subject line must be marked as specified for the project. Bids will be opened and read aloud at the specified time via video conference call. Any bid received after the deadline or submitted by other means will not be considered valid and will remain unopened. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids as may best serve their interest. Questions and comments on the bid opening process shall be addressed to the Division of Planning, Design & Construction at the Bureau of General Services. Questions regarding project design specifications or drawings shall be directed in writing to the Consultant during the bid period prior to the specified deadline. Bid security is required: The Bidder shall include a satisfactory Bid Bond (section 00 43 13) or a certified or cashier's check for 5% of the bid amount with the completed bid form submitted to the Owner. Performance and Payment Bonds are required: If any combination of Base Bid and Alternate Bids amounts selected in the award of the contract exceeds $125,000.00, the selected Contractor shall furnish a 100% contract Performance Bond and a 100% contract Payment Bond in the contract amount to cover the execution of the Work. Filed Sub-bids are not required. Pre-qualified General Contractors are not utilized. An optional on-site pre-bid conference will be conducted for this project at the stated time and location.
