Site work, new construction and renovation of a water / sewer project in Bethel, Maine. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 2,160-square-foot, one-story above grade water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

As of October 17, 2018, the project has been abandoned as-is. A USDA Rural Development program grant of $485,000 was denied. Town officials will now look at other alternatives because the environmental and safety work will still have to be addressed. *The original solicitation is listed below for reference. --- For the construction of the Bethel Wastewater Treatment Plant New Dewatering Building & Plant Improvements The Project consists of constructing a new approximate 36 x 60 single story structure to house dewatering equipment and associated appurtenances. Completion time for the project will be calculated as calendar days from the date specified in the Agreement Between Owner and Contractor as follows: 240 calendar days for substantial completion. 270 calendar days for final completion. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form.
