Site work and paving for a civil project in Biddeford, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The Project includes the following Work: Full-depth reconstruction of Pearl Street for a length of approximately 900 LF over a width of approximately 56 FT - 65 FT. The work includes, but is not limited to, excavation of existing roadway and associated materials, installation of gravel road base, bituminous paved roadway, concrete paver roadway and sidewalks (Woonerf area), concrete sidewalks, permeable paver sidewalks, granite curb, storm drain pipe and associated catch basins, gravity and force main sewer lines and associated manholes, water lines, gas lines, concrete encased conduit and associated handholes/manholes, street lights, and trees. Due to other development and construction that will be taking place concurrently on Pearl Street, the majority of underground utility work should, in general, be completed early in the spring of 2022; the remainder of utility work shall be completed during the 2022 construction season in accordance with the project schedule. Final completion for the project shall be within 245 Calendar Days. All questions regarding this project shall be submitted in writing to Janine S. The City of Biddeford reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any technical or legal deficiencies, and to accept any bid deemed in their best interest. Award decision will be based on the lowest most responsive and responsible bidder. It is the intention of the City to award the project based on the Total Bid (total of all unit price bid items), subject to funding and Council approval.
