Site work for a water / sewer project in Biddeford, Maine. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
**As of January 25, 2022, the project has not been awarded yet. A timeline for award is not yet determined. The project scope includes concrete repairs and epoxy coating of two aeration tanks and walkways at the City's Wastewater Treatment Facility located at 63 Water St in Biddeford Maine. The total surface area is approximately 4,500 SF. Painting inside walls of the tanks will be at least 1 ft below the water level. Scope of work Asses condition of concrete on walkways and sidewalls of area to be painted. Provide scaffolding and ladders to safely work inside tanks. Pressure wash all surfaces to remove built up sludge/dirt and any loose concrete with 5,000 psi water jetting. (Initial cleaning and dewatering of tank will be performed by city staff) Provide spot grinding of concrete where needed to removing loosely adhered coating. Repair concrete damage. Apply (2) coat application of Macopoxy 646 (Sherwin Williams) or equivalent to vertical concrete surfaces to at least 1 ft below the water line. Paint shall match the dark grey used on similar surfaces at the WWTF. Apply (2) coat application of SherCrete (Sherwin Williams) or equivalent to horizontal surfaces. Paint shall match the dark grey used on similar surfaces at the WWTF. Apply anti-slip coating to walkways. Clean up all materials when job complete
