The work consists of the installation of a new 100 HP submersible well pump and transmitter, yard piping improvements, and abandonment and capping of Wells 2 and 3, including removal of the pump, column pipe, level element, and wellhead at the Taylor Well site in Brunswick, Maine. The scope also includes a new control panel, removal and replacement of two variable frequency drives, installation of two new sine wave filters, a 12-inch raw water flow meter with associated process piping, and a pressure transmitter assembly at the Taylor Station Water Treatment Facility. Electrical site work includes demolition of existing underground power/control conduit from Taylor Station to the Taylor Well site, plus installation of new power and control conduit and wire. Examine the existing site for the work of all trades which will influence the cost of the work under the bid. This work shall include removals, relocations and rearrangements which may interfere with, disturb or complicate the performance of the work under the bid involving systems, equipment and related service lines, which shall continue to be utilized as part of the finished project. The Contractor is responsible for all coordination in this regard. 2. Provide in the bid a sufficient amount to include all removals, relocations, rearrangements and reconnections herein specified, necessary or required to provide approved operation and coordination of the combined new and existing systems and equipment.
