The Town of Brunswick (Town) is soliciting proposals for engineering services for a roadway tidal stream crossing project for the Coombs Road in Brunswick Maine. The primary deliverables will be a preliminary design report (PDR) and a final plans, specifications and estimate (PS&E) package. The Town is undertaking this project with funding from the State of Maine Department of Marine Resources (MaineDMR). This project is subject to applicable federal and state laws, regulations, policies and procedures. The final design should conform to Federal Highway and Maine Dept. of Transportation (MaineDOT) safety standards for structures of that type and length. The Town of Brunswick reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive technical or legal deficiencies, and to accept any proposal that it may deem to be in the best interest of the Town. The Town reserves the right to negotiate directly with the firm(s) selected for additional project work including construction administration services, and/or additional project engineering and design services at the hourly rates shown in the proposal submitted in response to this RFP.
