The Town of Danforth is accepting bids for the operation of its' transfer station for a three (3) year contract starting with the 2023/2024 season and ending 2025/2026. The contractor is to furnish all necessary equipment, supervision, labor, and materials to operate said facility according to said laws, regulations, licenses, ordinance, and agreements. The contractor will provide certificates of liability/property damage insurance coverage in the amount of $500,000.00 and worker's compensation insurance coverage or approved Predetermination of Independent Contractor Status. The successful bidder must provide all certificates of insurance requirements as stated in the Contract specifications, prior to entering in the contract no later than fifteen (15) days of awarding the bid. The Selectmen reserve the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
