Contractor will add four loads bank run gravel and compact the material from the driveway at Jim Parent's comer property to the first driveway of24 Devoe Road. Material will be tapered to the rise in the existing roadway. Bid for four loads, any additional amounts will be negotiated with the successful bidder. Material will be rolled and compacted.Water drainage will be established from Route Eleven to 24 Devoe Brook Road on the North Side ofDevoe Brook Road from the intersection ofRoute 11 to the stream prior to the residence at 31 Devoe Brook Road. Road shoulders will be cut and entry to the ditch will be tapered. Vegetation in the ditch will be removed. Ditch will be tapered to allow water to flow to the stream. Mulch will be added when work is complete. Road shoulders on the south side ofthe roadway from the town office located at 36 Devoe Brook Road will be lowered and the shoulders will be tapered to allow water to flow offthe roadway. A marked soft spot will be dug out and the material will be replaced with fabric material, 12 inches ofrock and a 6-inch gravel top. Dig 18 inches to install pipe on one halfofthe road to the drainage area by the snowmobile crossing, Work area is 30 feet by 6 feet. The spot will be tamped to reduce frost induced rising or sinking. Softspot isfrom the Eagle Lake Winter Rider's Snowmobile Club smallstorage building to the Mountain View Church Sign. The cross culvert before 31 Devoe Brook Road will be removed and replaced with a 24-inch plastic culvert. Add insulation to the bottom ofthe culvert and the covering material will be tamped into place. The lump on Devoe Brook Road at the mouth ofthe driveway entering the Town Office will be removed and replaced with tamped gravel. Replace the culvert at town office and install a new 24- inch plastic one. Add insulation to the bottom and cover the culvert with bank run gravel and tamp properly. Clean out the ditch and culvert at the Vaughn and Lisa Devoe Residence or 44 Devoe Brook Road. Clean out outlets ofthe culvert by 39 Devoe Brook Road property Cut the shoulders on Forest View Drive and Devoe Brook Road to the top of each hill and shape them to encourage water runoff. Mulch will be added when work is complete Spot Pavement will be added to work areas that were previously paved.
