SCOPE OF WORK Scope ofWork applies to all four roads. 3) All potholes shall be undercut and not simply filled. 4) No gravel, sod berm, or wind row will be left in-between the road and the ditch slope. 8) All work will be performed under the direction ofthe Road Commissioner (Town Manager). 12) Perform the work listed below for each road. The standards presented in the latest edition ofPart IV ofthe Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) will serve as minimum standards. 1 ) All Travel lanes on the gravel portion of Sly Brook Road (1.00 mile), Devoe Brook Road (1.00 mile), Gilmore Brook Road (1.44 miles), Deprey Road (0.41 miles), and will be graded with a cross-slope of 'A" per foot oflane width from the centerline to the shoulder (i.e. a 10-foot lane will have a crown of 5"). Shoulders will be lower and graded at a slightly steeper cross-slope to provide positive drainage toward the ditch. 5) Prior to any grading, the Contractor will be responsible for calling Dig Safe to protect against possible damage. The 72-hour waiting period will be adhered to in ALL CASES, except emergencies. Proofofnotification will be provided to the Town. 7) All culverts or obstructions will be flagged or marked by the Contractor prior to grading to ensure no damage to the culverts or equipment.
