Qualified vendors are sought to provide individual bids for services at three addresses: 25 Pine Street, 121 Main Street, and 142 Main Street in Ellsworth. Scope of Work: - 25 Pine Street: Masonry work including re-mortaring and repairing façade bricks facing Pine & Hancock Streets; chimney restoration to reflect the original appearance and integrity. - 121 Main Street: Masonry work involving repointing of the brick façade; replacement of 11 windows and repair of damaged flashings; replacement of 2 entry doors and damaged lintels above. - 142 Main Street: Removal of existing door and trim, installation of new door and trim, painting of door and trim; front façade brick mortar joints to be regrouted and damaged brick replaced. Instructions to Bidders: The work is partially funded by a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Business Façade Grant and is subject to all applicable federal and state requirements, including Davis Bacon wage rates. The full bid packages, including detailed scope of work, can be requested from the City Planner or downloaded from ellsworthmaine.gov. Questions are to be directed to the City Planner. Bids must be submitted by the specified deadline, either mailed or hand delivered, and will not be accepted by email or fax. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids.
