The City of Ellsworth is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified contractors for the installation of temporary power service to the site of the future Hancock County Courthouse along a 0.22- mile section of new roadway or along existing roadways if feasible. The purpose of this work is to provide reliable electrical service to support upcoming roadway construction activities and associated temporary facilities. The selected contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and coordination necessary to provide temporary electrical service. The general scope shall include, but not be limited to, the following: 1. Temporary Service Design & Coordination o Coordinate with the local utility company for service connection requirements, permits, and inspections. o Provide design drawings or layout for temporary service placement. 2. Power Distribution o Install temporary poles, conduit, cabling, panels, and distribution equipment along the 0.22-mile corridor or utilizing existing infrastructure if possible. o Ensure service capacity is adequate for construction lighting, tools, and temporary facilities. 3. Safety & Compliance o Meet all applicable National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA, and local code requirements. o Provide grounding, signage, and protective barriers as required. 4. Maintenance & Removal o Maintain the system for the duration of the project. o Remove all temporary equipment and restore disturbed areas upon completion. Question Deadline 10/09/2025.
