The following are the town ways and specifications the Town of Franklin is requesting bids for the replacement of five (5) culverts on the South Bay Road - Franklin end in 2024. All traffic control, safety matters, grinding, cleaning, and all other activities common to paving are the responsibility of the contractor. Culverts - South Bay Road Remove and replace the five sets of existing culverts at the five grade stakes on the Franklin paved end of South Bay Road. Culverts are to be Plastic, Smooth Interior, 18" diameter or larger if required, must be longer than the road bed, rip-rap at both ends. The re-paving will be completed by a separate contractor. The culverts are to be replaced before the scheduling of the town paving. Scope of Services Contractor is responsible for all grinding, cleaning, traffic control, and other safety matters. Contractor shall be responsible for the professional quality, technical accuracy, timely completion, and the coordination of all Services furnished by the Contractor under this Agreement. The Contractor shall, without additional compensation, correct or revise any errors or deficiencies in his Services. Deficiencies are defined as willful or negligent acts that distort or falsify the state of the Services developed and provided hereunder, or willful negligent non assignment of personnel or assignment of unqualified personnel to perform the duties hereunder. Approval by Town of services furnished hereunder shall not in any way relieve the Contractor of responsibilities for the technical adequacy of the work. Neither Town's review, approval or acceptance of, nor payment for Services shall be construed to operate as a waiver of any rights under this Agreement or any cause of action arising out of the performance of this Agreement, and the Contractor shall remain liable in accordance with applicable law for all damages to Town caused by the Contractor's willfully negligent performance of any of the Services furnished under this Agreement.
