Sol ID : 1230524Q0190, 12305B24Q0190 The primary objective of this project is to install chillers within the Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS) infrastructure of the government-operated salmon aquaculture facility, NCWMAC. The new chillers to be installed have been purchased by NCWMAC and have not been used. The old chillers that are no longer operational must be removed and disposed of following all state and federal guidelines. The implementation of chillers is imperative to uphold precise temperature control standards necessary for ensuring optimal environmental conditions calculated to increase safety, health, and welfare of the Atlantic Salmon. By maintaining precise temperature parameters within the RAS systems, the proposed chiller installations will mitigate functions and bolster overall success of the salmon population, thereby safeguarding the sustainability and productivity of the Atlantic Salmon Breeding Program in alignment with our governmental directives and regulatory framework. The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS) has a requirement to: Remove chillers and install government provided chillers. Solicitation 12305B25R0010 is issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP). The solicitation document, with the incorporated clauses and provisions, is issued in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 13 and 36 and will be incorporated in the awarded firm-fixed price contract.
