Accessibility and Drainage Improvements at the Gardiner Public Library include earthwork, drainage, buried utilities, granite curbing, bituminous paving, concrete walks, metal railings, and related incidental work. Bids must be submitted on forms provided in the bid documents, clearly marked with the project name on the outside of the sealed envelope. A bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid price in the form of a certified check or bid bond is required with the bid. Payment and performance bonds each in the amount of 100% of the bid price must be provided by the successful bidder within ten calendar days of Notice of Award. The General Contractor is responsible for 100% of the bond amounts, and combining bonds of subcontractors is not acceptable.
